Here we go! For all of you that are hoping to compete in the 2008 Turtle Ridge Rock Challenge take a look at the following rules and guidelines.
COMPETITOR RULES & OVERVIEW
- 20 competitor positions
- Top 5 competitors from last year invited back
- 15 positions open to ANY person willing to subject their rig to the punishment dealt out by our courses
- The 15 positions will be filled by a random drawing from all qualifying entries submitted by deadline(info to come later)
- There will also be 5 alternate positions being selected from the sumitted entries
- Vehicles must have a roll cage/bar fore and aft of the drivers seating position(hoop in front of and behind driver)
- Tire sizes between 35"- 40" ONLY(as printed on tire)
- Body/ frame must be 50% factory production
- Rear traction control MANDATORY
- Front traction control of some sort(limited slip, locker)
- Tow points front/rear
- Mounted winch(you'll need it)
- Seatbelts of some sort with a shoulder strap
- Winch weight for cable users(one will be provided for all to use if you don't have one)
- DOT/SNELL helmet
- Nerves of steel;-)
