Schuss Mnt. Snow Challenge
Sat. April 4, 2009
Shanty Creek Resorts, Griztek Auto Appearance & Offroad, and the Williamsburg Welfare Wheelers Offroad Club are proud to announce, in the tradition of the Charleviox hill climb, the return of side by side hill climb racing on the snow at the 2009 Schuss Mnt. Snow Challenge up Good Knight.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Disabled American Veterans.  The DAV helps and  provides services to our veterans, past and present.

General Information/Rules
  • Vehicle registration into competition: $20/vehicle
  • Spectator entry fee: $5/head ($7.00 day of event.  $2.00 off voucher/coupon available HERE.  Print the page for as many as you need.)
  • Side by side racing up the face of Good Knight @ Schuss Mnt.
  • Single elimination
  • Only ONE(1) driver per vehicle.  No multiple driver vehicles allowed.
  • Multiple VEHICLE  entries will be allowed, but each vehicle MUST be registered in different classes. (You may not run two different vehicles in the same class unless the second vehicle is entered by a seperate driver.)
  • Multiple TIRE CLASS entries will also be allowed.  An entry fee must be paid for each tire class in which you wish to run the same vehicle.
  • Registrants must have a VALID drivers license.

Vehicle Classes [by tire]
  • 31" and down
  • 32" - 35"
  • 36" and up
  • Must run DOT tires.
  • Size determined by sidewall markings, not physical measurements.
  • Most vehicles will fit into one of these three categories

*We've already been receiving questions regarding tire cutting/grooving.  This will be allowed in these classes as long as the tire is DOT approved.
Special Vehicle Classes
  • Two classes available: Diesel and SuperModified
  • Pretty much anything goes in these two classes.
  • Diesel- Any modifications, tuning, lift kits, propane injection, twin turbo, ect.... allowed.  If it runs on diesel, you go here.  No tire classes for diesel powered rigs.
  • SuperModified- If you are running alcohol, nitrous, or any kind of aftermarket forced air induction system(supercharger, turbo charger) you MUST be entered into this class.
  • Non-DOT tires allowed.  If you chose to run NON DOT tires on your vehicle, regardless of what it is, you will be placed in the SuperModified class.

Got all that?  Now  PRE-REGISTER your vehicle to guarantee your spot.  There will be a cap on entries, so space will be limited to first come first serve.

Also go to the Pre-Register page to print out a copy of the rule and information as well as a copy of the registration form and flier.
